Sex toy warranty and product support, made simple.

At Thorn & Feather, we want you to feel confident buying sex toys and sexual wellness products in Canada. Eligible physical products purchased from Thorn & Feather are covered by our one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting on the original purchase date. Please see the manufacturer-direct arrangements below for We-Vibe, Womanizer, Arcwave and ROMP.

Our store warranty is designed to make your after-sales experience easier and more convenient. It is an additional service and does not shorten, replace or limit any applicable manufacturer warranty. You retain access to the manufacturer's coverage under its own terms, including any warranty period longer than one year.

For products covered by our store warranty, contact us within the first year. We will review the issue, help with troubleshooting and handle eligible claims. After the first year, follow the brand's claim process if your product is still covered by a longer manufacturer warranty. The guide below notes when a manufacturer requires retailer involvement.

What does our store warranty cover?

Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use in accordance with the product instructions. This includes a motor, charging system or other product component failing because of a manufacturing defect.

For a verified defect, we will arrange a replacement with the same item. If the item is out of stock, you may choose store points with an equivalent monetary value to use toward a future purchase. We will confirm the value and arrange this with you before issuing the points.

What is not covered?

• Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper cleaning or storage, or damage caused by using the product contrary to its instructions.
• Damage caused by unauthorized alterations or repairs.
• Loss or theft.
• Personal preferences, fit, sensation, or a change of mind when the product is not defective.
• Products being used up, disposable batteries becoming depleted through normal use, or products reaching their labelled expiry or after-opening period. The one-year warranty does not extend a consumable product's shelf life.

These exclusions do not remove coverage for an actual manufacturing defect. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will help assess the issue.

Consumable and single-use products: Lubricants, toy cleaners and other consumable or single-use products are excluded from our additional one-year store warranty. Please contact us if an item arrives damaged, leaking or expired, or if you discover a suspected manufacturing defect, so we can review the issue and help resolve it. This exclusion does not affect any applicable manufacturer warranty or your statutory consumer rights.

How to claim under our one-year store warranty

1. Contact orders@thornandfeather.ca within one year of the original purchase date for a claim under our store warranty.
2. Include your order number or proof of purchase, product name and a short description of the problem. Include the serial or batch number if available.
3. Include a clear photo or short video showing the product and the issue so we can assess your warranty claim. If the issue cannot be shown visually, provide a photo of the product and explain the problem in writing. Please show only the product; intimate images or demonstrations on a person are not needed.
4. Wait for our instructions before sending anything back. We will explain the next steps and any return requirements.

Returns and shipping

Some issues can be assessed without a return. If a return is required, we will provide instructions first. Under our current return policy, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please keep the product and its accessories while your claim is being reviewed.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects; it is separate from change-of-mind returns and is not a one-year satisfaction or money-back guarantee. Our Refund Policy explains other return options. The 30-day defective-item process in that policy does not shorten the one-year coverage described here.

Frequently asked questions about warranty coverage

Does your one-year warranty reduce a longer manufacturer warranty?

No. Our store warranty gives you a convenient point of contact during the first year. It does not replace or shorten an applicable manufacturer warranty. For example, a two-year manufacturer warranty normally continues until two years from its stated start date; it does not end after our first year or become three years in total.

What if the manufacturer's warranty is shorter than one year?

For products eligible for our store warranty, we cover qualifying manufacturing defects for one year from the original purchase date, even if the manufacturer's stated warranty is shorter.

What if my brand is not in the table?

The table is a guide to selected manufacturer warranties, not a complete list of products we cover. Our one-year store warranty applies to eligible physical products even when the brand is not listed. The manufacturer-direct arrangements below still apply.

Should I register my product with the manufacturer?

Yes, where registration is required for the manufacturer's coverage or an extension. Keep your proof of purchase and complete any required registration within the manufacturer's deadline. You do not need to wait for our first-year coverage to end.

Manufacturer warranties and your rights

Our store warranty is provided for your convenience and does not replace, shorten or limit any applicable manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer coverage remains subject to the manufacturer's terms. If your brand is not listed above, our one-year store warranty still applies to eligible physical products, subject to the manufacturer-direct arrangements below. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

Manufacturer-direct warranty support

In accordance with WOW Tech's requirements, warranty claims for We-Vibe, Womanizer, Arcwave and ROMP are handled directly by their respective manufacturer, including during the first year. Please contact the brand using its official link below. Our store replacement and store-points options do not apply to these manufacturer-managed claims.
